Houston, TX. - JAB Energy Solutions LLC today announced the successful completion of the 2008 Platform and Well Abandonment Program for a major Gulf of Mexico Independent producer. The work was completed without incident, on time, and on budget.
JAB's scope included permitting, procedure writing, vendor selection, work site supervision, and logistical coordination of the contract valued at over $15 million. More than 20 vendors were selected to perform various aspects of the work which consisted of: P&A of 28 wells, plugged and abandon 2 each pipelines, removal of 2 each 4-pile platforms and the completion of site verifications.
